Eleven years of teacher trainings on the Gold Coast. Six certification pathways, a faculty still teaching daily on our own timetable, and a structure built from what works in a room. Whether you train to teach for a living or to go deeper for yourself — $300 comes off any Ritual School training when you secure your place before 1 September.
One offer, every pathway — 200HR Yoga, 100HR Reformer, 100HR Mat Pilates, 50HR Yin, 50HR Barre and 50HR Meditation. Secure your place with the standard $500 deposit before 1 September and we take $300 off the balance.
We have been certifying teachers on the Gold Coast for eleven years — long enough that our own timetable is largely staffed by our own graduates, and long enough that the curriculum has been rebuilt from what actually holds up in a room rather than left as a syllabus written once.
Every Ritual School course follows the same structure: in-person contact days on the Gold Coast, then up to six months of coursework, supervised practice hours and mentorship completed in your own time. Each pathway is led by a practising teacher rather than a visiting one, and graduates are considered first for positions on our own timetable.

Our first publicly offered Reformer training, led by Sophie Spratt — more than a decade in movement education and the co-founder who built the Ritual Pilates method. Four in-person days across Palm Beach and Robina, then a 100-hour pathway of online study, observation, practice teaching and mentorship.
The foundation of everything we teach. Three long weekends of contact days — Fri 13–Mon 16 November, Fri 20–Mon 23 November and Fri 28–Sun 30 November, 8:00am to 5:00pm — wrapped in six months of online coursework, so you keep your job while you train.
Four days — Friday 27 to Monday 30 November, 8:30am to 5:30pm — with Alex Vannucci. Fascia, the meridian lines, long holds and the art of holding a quiet room. It stands alone as a certification and it is the most popular add-on for our 200HR graduates.
The doorway into Pilates teaching, and the prerequisite for Reformer. Two long weekends of contact days plus six months to complete — no prior certification needed, and prior Pilates experience is helpful rather than essential. The February 2027 intake is confirmed; exact dates are being finalised now.
Fifty hours of choreography, cueing, music and the small-range work that makes a barre class land. It suits dancers, Pilates teachers and anyone who wants a second discipline on their timetable — and it is the quickest route from student to the front of a room.
Fifty hours on how to sit, how to guide, and how to hold silence for other people without filling it. Taught with guest teacher Mitch Hunter. It is the training people most often describe as the one that changed how they teach everything else.
The same deposit we have always taken. Pay it any time before 11:59pm on Monday 31 August and your place in the intake is held.
Your classes and your online learning portal open immediately — you begin practising, reading and racking up hours months before the first contact day.
Your balance is not due until four weeks before the training begins, and it arrives $300 lighter. Weekly payment plans still apply.
Whichever pathway you choose, the structure underneath it is the same — because the thing that makes a confident teacher is hours on the floor, not hours in a lecture. You learn to see a body, to place a hand, and to know when to leave one alone.
Between 25 and 50 classes at Palm Beach and Robina come with your training, and they open the day your deposit lands.
In-person contact days plus six months of online coursework, so the training fits around the job you already have.
A full printed manual, lifetime access to the online learning portal, and the video lectures that go with it.
Structured observation with senior instructors and supervised practice teaching — the part most schools leave you to arrange alone.
We hire our graduates. Teaching opportunities across both studios, plus community classes to cut your teeth on.
The education team stays with you after certification, and every further Ritual course comes at a graduate discount.

Read Alex’s bio“One of the coolest parts of the course for me was diving into anatomy and then directly applying that knowledge to our movements. Now I’m not only teaching classes permanently at Ritual, but also leveraging what I learned to recommend exercises to my osteopathy patients. Super rewarding!”
“The course not only met my expectations but also provided a unique, valuable experience. Being able to engage face-to-face, ask numerous questions in an open forum, and receive immediate feedback was incredibly enriching. This hands-on approach has not only deepened my understanding but also sparked a desire for further personal exploration into Pilates and movement.
What truly sets this program apart is the sense of community it fosters. Meeting and connecting with people who share similar paths and interests has been a highlight for me, reinforcing the idea that we are all in this together, growing and learning.”
“After completing the training at Ritual, I’ve secured permanent classes at the studio and have the opportunity to work with my own private clients! The intensive delivery format was incredibly rewarding; it allowed for deep immersion into the Pilates world. Plus, learning alongside like-minded individuals made the experience even more enriching.”
“The 6 days of intensive training were transformative. Being surrounded by like-minded women and led by Sophie created an unforgettable atmosphere. The most valuable aspect of the course was undoubtedly the teaching experience and the emphasis on repetitive learning of movements. This experience has not only bolstered my confidence in teaching movement but also reaffirmed my belief in my chosen path and the value others see in my abilities.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this program to others. Ritual’s inclusive space and Sophie’s wealth of knowledge offer an incredible learning environment.”
“What I loved about the course at Ritual is that it combined the theory with a lot of practical application. I am the first Pilates teacher in Australia that can teach in Auslan (Australian sign language) and incredibly grateful that this is now my career.”
“Although daunting, it can be so rewarding to step outside of your comfort zone. The Pilates teacher training was exactly that! Sophie exudes passion, knowledge and fun in her teaching method, making the experience a memorable one. Grateful to have practiced alongside such a beautiful and like-minded bunch — we left equipped with the tools and confidence to journey into teaching.”
“This course absolutely exceeded my expectations. I felt that over the duration of the teacher training I not only gained a lot of knowledge and practical skills for becoming a confident and capable Pilates instructor, but I too, through connections with like-minded people, gained valuable insight into myself in a personal and professional sense.”
“I never knew how much could unfold from a YTT. Whether it is for a new beginning, to go deeper into what yoga means for you, or to really just see where this practice can take you — this training had such an impact on my life that I never knew could happen. It was a journey that changed both my physical practice and the trajectory I have towards life and the experiences of everyday.”
“Taking my first YTT, it was so much more dynamic and dimensional than I could have pictured. My training at Ritual really opened my eyes to how using these ancient yogic techniques and practices creates a life of more equanimity, joy, and inner radiance — which naturally touches the lives of those around you.”
“I started this course with a very basic personal practise and minimal understanding of yoga history and philosophy. Rose, the Ritual team and the guest teachers created a well-rounded course that balances practise and theory. I learned so much during this program, and I now feel more confident in my own practice and my ability to share it with others.
It’s been an incredible journey, and I recommend this course not only to anyone who wants to teach, but simply to deepen their own understanding and practice of yoga.”
No. Roughly half of every intake trains to build a career, and the other half trains to understand their own practice properly. Both get the same certification and the same welcome. Study what you love and build a career out of it — or go deeper purely for yourself.
It holds your place in the intake and opens your classes and your online learning portal the same day — so you can start practising and studying immediately. The balance is not due until four weeks before the training begins, and with this offer it arrives $300 lighter.
Yes, and the $300 still applies. The 200HR runs at $316.25 a week over 16 weeks after the deposit; Mat Pilates at $250 a week over 10 weeks; Yin at $370 a fortnight. Ask us and we will show you the plan with the discount already taken off.
The contact days are the fixed part — long weekends, 8:00am to 5:30pm depending on the course. Everything else is yours to pace: you have six months after the final contact day to finish the classes, observations, assignments and online components.
For the 200HR Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, Yin and Meditation trainings, no — a consistent practice is enough, and prior experience is helpful rather than essential. The Reformer training is the one exception: a Matwork Pilates certification is required before you begin.
Deposits are non-refundable but they are transferable — if life shifts, your place and your $300 move to a later intake with you. For the February 2027 Mat Pilates and the 2027 Barre and Meditation trainings, paying a deposit now locks the discount in before the dates are announced.
